In 2022, House Bill 22-1139 was passed in the Colorado state legislature forbidding any HOA from prohibiting the use of a public right-of-way that is in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Thus, an HOA may not impose such restrictions on the use of public rights-of-way, through any declaration, bylaws or other rules or regulations. For more information.
