On Veteran's day each year social media explodes with heartfelt THANK YOUs and service recognition to our veterans. These brave men and women sure have earned those acknowledgements...without a doubt. This year I would like to encourage you to look beyond the normal and instead LIVE your thanks to these heroes.
No service member wakes up thinking "I sure hope someone tells me THANK YOU today." Instead these citizens have answered the call...stepped up to the plate...to assure your freedom and your rights even if this assurance is paid for with their lives. This selfless act is without comparison. The wiliness to put the well being of others above your own is representative by their quiet and humble service.
Commit for the next 364 "Non-Veteran" days to LIVE your thank you. "... endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."
Honor their gift of protected freedom and say THANK YOU with your actions!
