Holiday Carriage Rides Canceled for 2018

To continue to provide our community with free and low-cost events, while balancing necessary budget reductions, the Town has had to take an in-depth look at our event lineup and make some hard choices. While we know the Holiday Carriage Rides are a favorite community tradition, they serve the lowest number of participants and have the highest per patron cost (about $9 per person per ride) within our event lineup. In order to meet budgetary constraints, and also retain the Town’s signature events that serve a broader portion of our community, we made the difficult decision to cancel the 2018 Holiday Carriage Rides. Read the Carriage Rides Q&A here.

We look forward to seeing you at one of the other signature events the Town puts on for the community. Save the date for the Mayor’s Holiday Lighting on Friday, Nov. 23 and the Christmas Carriage Parade on Saturday, Dec. 8.
