Welcome back to events, Parker!  Town of Parker and Xfinity invites the community to join us for "Fireworks on the Fourth" and celebrate Independence Day at Salisbury Park once again. While this event will differ from our traditional Parker Stars and Stripes Celebration, it will still be a great time to enjoy live music, walk-around entertainment and fireworks display. To provide maximum flexibility with still-changing health guidelines, and allow guests to choose their preferred experience, the event will be divided into three zones — Red, White and Blue — see details for each zone below.

This event will go on rain or shine unless fire ban or COVID-19 restrictions require the event to be canceled or rescheduled by the Town. Should the event be rescheduled, the reschedule date will be Sunday, Sept. 26, 2021. Refunds will only be available if fire ban or COVID-19 restrictions require event cancellation.

Red Zone

Red Zone patrons will purchase a $30 parking pass (no buses, RV’s, trailers, commercial vehicles) which will grant them access to parking on the paved lots of Salisbury Park and seating on the grass multi-purpose field at Salisbury Park. Patrons will enjoy a live concert in the park with walk-around entertainment before our Independence Day fireworks show. Gates will open at 7:15 p.m. and close at 9 p.m. with the fireworks show starting at 9:30 p.m. The purchase of this parking pass allows all patrons in the vehicle exclusive access to the grass field, walk-around characters like magicians, jugglers and stilt walkers, a live band (6 Million Dollar Band is returning to welcome our community back to live events) and food vendors. Patrons will be encouraged to bring their lawn blankets, chairs, non-alcoholic beverages and snacks to enjoy an evening of entertainment before the fireworks show. Patrons in the Red Zone will also be treated to a musical composition that goes along with the fireworks.

White Zone

White Zone patrons will purchase a $20 parking pass (no buses, RV’s, trailers, commercial vehicles) which will grant them access to parking on the polo field at Salisbury Park and a reserved painted tailgate area next to their parking space. This zone includes parking, access to walk-around characters like magicians, jugglers and stilt walkers and listening to (but not being able to see; music played over speakers) a live band performance (6 Million Dollar Band is returning to welcome our community back to live events.) Gates will open at 7:15 p.m. and close at 9 p.m. with the fireworks show starting at 9:30 p.m. Patrons in this zone will be encouraged to bring their lawn blankets, chairs, non-alcoholic beverages and snacks to enjoy an evening of entertainment before the fireworks show. They can listen and dance to live music in their tailgate space but not have access to the stage or band viewing. Patrons in the White Zone will be treated to a musical composition that goes along with the fireworks.

Blue Zone

Blue Zone patrons will purchase a $10 parking pass (no buses, RV’s, trailers, commercial vehicles) which will grant them access to park in the North Salisbury field and have the best view of the fireworks as they will be parked in the same field as the fireworks launch area. Gates will open at 8:15 p.m. and close at 9 p.m. with the fireworks show starting at 9:30 p.m. This will be a drive-in only zone where patrons will be allowed to sit at the bumper, in or on their vehicles but not allowed extra tailgating space. For safety purposes, patrons will be required to stay near their vehicles and not allowed to roam the parking lot.
